Dorothy Scott was born October 14th, 1926 in Geronimo, OK. She was the 14th of 15 children. She graduated high school in 1944, and met Adrian Scott. They married in 1945 and moved to Duncan, OK. Dorothy and Adrian had two beautiful children, Gary Lee and Beverly Anne.

Dorothy loved being a housewife and mother and prided herself in a well-kept home and tasty meals on the table. She is a very classy woman who often worked in dress shops. She loves people and visiting with friends and family. In 2001, she and Adrian moved to Amarillo to assist with their quintuplet great-grandchildren. They helped by feeding, rocking and changing a few diapers. Her pride and joy is in her two children, four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Childers Place is blessed to have her and her beautiful personality.  She has been a resident since January 2011.  Dorothy gives sweet "kisses" to all our staff, and enjoys walking around the building and visiting others on her neighborhood.
